* Desert Sky Community School Open House
Families with children currently in preschool
through fifth grade are invited to visit Desert Sky
Community School’s campus at 1350 N. Arcadia
(near Speedway and Swan) for an informative Open
House on Thursday, December 13, from 5:30pm to
7:00pm. Desert Sky, a tuition-free charter school
for kindergarten and grades, is the only charter
school in the Tucson area inspired by Waldorf
Education, which emphasizes teaching appropriate
to the child's developmental level. Educational
opportunities include art, music, movement, and
Spanish and German twice a week starting in first
grade.
