The mountains along the East Coast of South Korea were just named the venue for the 2018 Winter Olympics...but summer is a wonderful time to go as well; about 25 miles or so, as the crow flies, from the winter resort at Pyeongchang is Seoraksan National Park, with hiking trails in valleys such as this one--the Osaek Valley...
