The picture was taken in July 2007 at Stanley Lake, Idaho, in the Sawtooth Mountains.
This photograph is special to me because it was taken early in the morning when the clouds were just forming over the lake. After a few minutes, the clouds were all gone, pushed away by the wind. My husband and I were camped on the lake. We were reunited after he had just completed a solo bicycle tour from northern Arizona to Idaho, and I had driven up to meet him a couple of days before this photo was taken.
