"Dove Nest #1"
I was out following our cattle dog Boyd around our backyard when I walked next to our orange tree. Suddenly what looked like one of those mourning doves exploded out of the tree at about eye level. Considering that a mourning dove can fly at speeds of 55mph, I'm not surprised how fast she exited the tree once she decided I'd gotten too close.
Figuring that there was a reason why she was in there I looked in and found this.
There won't be much more to see until the eggs hatch.
