Great shot, surrounded by the grasses. We had the same thing happen in Glacier National Park, except it was a grizzly! We were making "yo bear" noises and didn't see a thing in front of us. A fellow hiker came along and said, excitedly, "did you guys just see that grizzly pass right behind you?".
